New clients, welcome to Peak City Puppy! Peak City Puppy is dedicated to providing personalized enriched care for your pet. As a new client, you may be curious about the process of getting set up as a client, what goes on during a pet visit, and howPeak City Puppy keeps you informed and up to date about your pet’s well-beingwhile you’re away. Read below for more information.
Meet and Greet
Every new client will have a ‘Meet and Greet’ with the sitter or dog walker. The sitter will contact the owner through the app, Time to Pet, or through text. As a first-time client, you will be required to fill out a profile on the Time to Pet app providing details about your pet(s) and their care.
The Meet and Greet allows not only for the sitter and owner to meet in person, but also for the pet to get acquainted with the sitter. This ensures that your pet will recognize the sitter when they walk in for the first visit. The Meet and Greet is your opportunity to show the sitter where everything is in your home and discuss special needs or instructions. At the end of the meeting, your sitter will complete a report in the Time to Pet app that you can view in the app or through email.
During the Visit
Your sitter will start the visit by logging into the app upon arrival at your home. When the sitter is with your pet, they will follow your care instructions discussed at the Meet and Greet including feeding, potty breaks, playing, walking, and administering medication, if appropriate.
When the visit is complete, you will receive a report from the sitter. This report will include a description of your pet’s activities and plenty of photos. The app allows you to see the check-in and checkout times of the visit. If the visit includes a walk, you can even see the route they took. All these details are provided to ensure your pet has a great experience while giving you, the owner, peace of mind.
After the Visit
Peak City Puppy’s flexibility and open communication continues after the visit has ended. The chat feature in Time to Pet allows the owner to ask any addition questions for the pet sitter or Peak City Puppy admin team. Every month, Peak City Puppy will send out a newsletter via Time to Pet. The newsletter is designed to keep you informed with company updates, highlight relevant seasonal information, like how we keep your pet safe during very hot or cold weather. You’ll also find fun photos of pet and sitter profiles.
