Wake Forest Pet Sitter & Dog Walker

Donna Jones has recently retired from over 30 years as an elementary teacher and school librarian and is very excited to be a member of the PCP team. She has spent her entire life in NC with the last 30 years in the Youngsville Wake Forest area. Donna loves animals of all kinds and has had pets in her family as far back as she can remember.

She currently lives with her husband and her teenager grey tabby, 13-year- old Betty Scatter. She is eager to add your baby to her list of friends and you can rely on her to treat your pet as she treats her own, so they are relaxed and happy while you are away. When Donna isn’t having fun with animals like cats, dogs, goats, chickens and llamas, she enjoys gardening, reading, singing and painting.

Hi I’m Liz I recently moved to NC from San Diego to be near my family. I’ve got a lot of experience with animals, I owned the first and largest Healthy Pet Food Store in San Diego, designed the San Diego Pet Magazine and created websites for the San Diego Pet Sitters Association for many years.

I love hiking in the many beautiful Nature Preserves in the area with my dog. Your fur babies will be in good hands, I’ll love them like my own.

Hi! I’m Jennifer G. and I’ve lived in the Triangle Area for over 20 years. My family and I love it here. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and I wouldn’t have it any other way. My current pack includes my husband, two kids, one Beagle-Lab mix rescue from Saving Grace and a young Vizsla who has more energy than the rest of us combined! I prefer to always share my home and life with AT LEAST two furry family members. They bring us incredible joy, loads of laughter, and they love unconditionally, which serves as a wonderful example for us humans.

We are blessed to have family nearby who can care perfectly for our dogs when we are away, and I know the incredible comfort that comes with that. We have one dog who is on daily medication and both dogs are on special Rx food, and they cannot share food due to their specific health needs. We are grateful for family who take excellent care of them, never forgot to administer medicine, know how important it is to not mix up their food, and who love them the way we do. We enjoy receiving text messages from them with updates and photos of our babies while we are away. I also know what it’s like to not have that and how agonizing it can be to leave beloved pet(s) with a stranger, praying they will be well-cared for.

In addition to our own dogs, I have provided dog walking and pet sitting for family, friends and neighbors for years. When a lifetime friend of mine adopted a dog for the first time and needed someone to take care of him while she traveled, she asked me and said, “You are the ‘doggie-est’ person I know!” I’ve shared my home with and/or taken care of everything from 5 lb. Chihuahuas to 130 lb. Great Pyrenees and everything in between (kitties too)! I am thrilled to join the Peak City Puppy team, because when it comes to providing the absolute best care for people’s cherished pets, they truly “get it.”

I’ve been married for 20 years, and we have a son who is a recent high school graduate. We have two dogs, Macy and Nashville, and one car, Ashe. Other than babies, dogs and cats, I love to read and go to the beach.

Audrey is a lifelong animal lover who enjoys hanging out with all things soft and cuddly. She has a Standard Poodle, Posy, who has fulfilled her dream of finally owning a dog.

She grew up in Northern Virginia with a dad who is very allergic to animals, so her first furry friend fix was with her rabbits and by pet sitting for neighbors and friends.

She has lived in Wake Forest for about 10 years. Audrey has a degree in Equestrian Studies, and a Master’s in Intercultural Studies from Southeastern. She enjoys being outside gardening and going hiking with her dog. Horses and traveling are other passions that she indulges in as often as she can. Audrey looks forward to playing with and caring for your fur babies.

In her spare time, she enjoys organizing, decluttering, and diving into new DIY projects. Recently, Jill achieved a major personal goal of losing over 70 pounds, and her dogs have been her motivation to stay active. Her beloved Lab, Birdie, and English Setter, Boone, bring her endless joy, and she can’t imagine life without them.

Kileigh has always been a natural when it comes to caring for animals, a trait she picked up from a young age. During her childhood, Kileigh owned a labrador retriever named Shadow. And a German shepherd named Tucker, as well as 4 parakeets. Kileigh then rescued a kitten named Millie, where Millie found her forever home with Kileigh.

Kileigh’s compassion for animals led her to running her own dog sitting business in Henderson around her neighborhood at age 14-16, caring for various families’ pets. In her free time Kileigh enjoys nature by going on walks and going on picnics with her friends. And of course, spending time with her cat.

Kileigh cannot wait to use this opportunity to share her caring heart with your animals and treat them with love and respect. :)

When I’m not working as a school social worker, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my dogs, practising hot yoga, and watching sports with my family. I’m excited for the opportunity to care for your animals as if they were my own.

In my other life I work at a computer, so I am excited to get fresh air and see daylight with your dog! I have lived in North Carolina most of my life, and I love the (mostly) great weather and beautiful scenery. I am a dog person; although I love animals in general, puppers are my weak spot.

I have secret plans to own a boatload of dogs in old age (shh, don’t tell my husband…) Until then, we have two Boston Terriers who think they are humans. They are adorable, spoiled, lazy, and a wonderful addition to our family. I love my fur babies and will take excellent care of yours!

Hi, I’m Alexis! I’ve lived in the Wake Forest area for almost a year now, and my husband and I have absolutely fallen in love with it. Originally from New York, I’ve lived all across the state, but we were ready for a new adventure and couldn’t be happier to call Wake Forest home.

Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve grown up with dogs, have experience caring for cats, and currently share my home with two doodles, Porter and Reyna, and a very spirited Holland Lop bunny named Yugi. My pets are truly my world, and they each have huge personalities that keep life fun and full of love.

When I’m not working from home as a Program Manager in Higher Education, you’ll find me walking my pups, running local trails, or getting lost in a good book. Since moving here, I’ve been looking for a way to do something more fulfilling, and caring for your pets is the perfect fit.

I know how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your furry family members, and I’m excited to give you that same peace of mind we’ve always valued.
