Hi, I’m Lauren! I’ve lived in Raleigh since 2013. I’m a former news producer who’s now taking some time to enjoy other passions, like pets! I’m excited to love and care for yours. I’ve had pets my entire life including dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, lizards and more.
In my free time, you can find me practicing yoga, going on hikes, and snuggling with my 16-year-old chihuahua GusGus.

I recently moved to NC from the Northeast. I’m a zookeeper and have worked with monkeys, snow leopards, and grizzly bears, but my favorite animal to work with is penguins. I’ve been pet sitting and walking dogs for over 9 years and have a pet ferret of my own. I enjoy spending time in nature and traveling and hope to visit all 7 continents.

Hello, my name is Katie! I am a recent graduate in Animal Science from NC State and a future veterinary student who will be joining NC State’s College of Veterinary Medicine in the Fall of 2025.
I’m originally from Harrisburg, NC, where I grew up surrounded by multiple animals, including dogs, hamsters, and guinea pigs, who contributed partly to my passion for animal health. Outside of my passion for animals, I enjoy listening to music, getting out in nature and growing plants, and hanging out with my friends.
I am always happy to chat, especially about your fur babies! I look forward to meeting you and your pets and being their home away from home!

Cris is from México and she has been living in North Carolina since 2019. She considers that there is no better place to raise children than North Carolina.
She loves to spend time with her family, she has 2 daughters (11 and 8), so there is no time to get bored at home. She and her family love spending time with friends, hiking in the mountains, and camping on the beach. She thinks long or short walks are the perfect times to meditate and connect with nature.
Cris is always looking for the best way to live in peace and balance, she believes that a life in balance is the direct path to happiness.
Throughout her life, Cris has had dogs and cats at home and the only thing she can say about that is “any pet is a wonderful being that allows you to connect with them and make your life happier; they are definitely beings full of energy and unconditional love”.

Savannah was born and raised in Raleigh, NC. She moved to Boston for four years in 2021 to attend Boston College, where she got her Bachelor’s degree in political science and environmental studies. She’s now back living and working in Raleigh with her golden retriever, Willow, until she goes back to school. She loves taking Willow on walks around the neighborhood, reading sci-fi and fantasy novels, and watching thrillers. Savannah loves animals, especially dogs, and can’t wait to care for your pet!
Hi, my name is Grace and I live in the Cary/Raleigh area. I have lived in Fuquay-Varina for my entire life but moved closer to Raleigh to go to NC State University! I have always had a special heart for animals. Now, I am studying Agricultural Business with a minor in animal science to continue my love through my future career! I am blessed to have a decently flexible schedule between classes and especially the summer, which allows me to not only work, but work with what I love, pets! Tommy, my cat, is my best friend! He’s a silly and spicy tuxedo that I rescued from under a car. I also have two doodles that stay with my parents, nearby so I can always go pop in and see my canine babies! Pets have always had a huge impact on my life and I love being able to help others with theirs whether that’s mid-day walks and house visits while you’re on vacation or even spending overnight with those pets who need that extra company! I can’t wait to get to love on your fur babies and looking forward to finding out how I can help you!

Hi! I’m Susan, a North Carolina native and UNC alum (Go Heels!). Dogs have been an important part of my life ever since I got my first adorable terrier mix at 3 years old. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities through both caring for my own pets and volunteer work with animal shelters. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, or just a little extra attention, I’m committed to providing safe, reliable, and loving care. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me at the beach or enjoying the outdoors with my dog, Theo. I look forward to meeting your furry family members and making sure they have a fun, safe, and happy time!

Hi there! My name is Kaya, and my fur babies are my whole world. I have two cats and a tripawed dog of my own. I just graduated from NC State, and I’m going to grad school for Public Administration and Library Science. In my free time, I love swimming, camping, fostering cats, reading, and running with my dog.
Christine moved from NY to NC with her husband in 1992. While raising two sons, Christine taught preschool. Looking for a change to go along with the transition of grown children, Christine heard about Peak City Puppy through a friend. It was a great opportunity to have more animals in her life! Dog walking has always been a favorite activity, and her own “SPCA Special”, a hound girl named Cookie, gets walked daily on the greenways in Cary. Dogs are amongst Christine’s favorite people! She thinks it’s wonderful to arrive at a house and have a dog thrilled to see her and get outside. Sharing how cute and comical dogs are with their pet parents is an extra perk! It’s a joy to love on clients’ dogs, although, Cookie does require a sniff down once Christine gets back home.
