My name is Sandra, I moved to Holly Springs from NJ 7 years ago. I have 2 children one at ECU the other at HSHS – I have worked as a pre school TA for the last 6 years and am now looking for something with a little more flexibility.
I have had pets my whole life and can’t imagine my home without one – I now have 4 fur babies of my own 2 dogs and 2 cats, and since we are maxed out at our home I’m looking forward to help care for your fur babies.

Lisa A. has lived in Apex for most of her life. About 8 years ago she, her husband and their 4 daughters adopted a shelter dog from the Richmond County Animal Shelter, and, 6 months after that, they decided to start fostering shelter dogs for local NC rescues and humane societies. Eight years and 100 foster dogs later, Lisa is adding more canines to the mix by offering families pet care through Peak City Puppy. She is excited to befriend more animals in the Apex/ New Hill area while helping families navigate busy schedules and the needs of their furry companions.

Rita has been living in Apex since 2008. She has always loved animals and can not envision a life without them.
After losing her beloved dogs Tammy and Dottie she ventured into a new endeavor and started fostering with Peak Lab Rescue in 2018. Having taken care of over a hundred dogs in need, she adopted her own rescue Riley in 2020. Teaching her own dog came as second nature, after the multitude of experience gained from fostering predominantly puppies.
In her spare time she enjoys being creative, painting in either acrylic or oil, and hand building her own pottery. Rita loves to be outside and likes hiking, gardening, and of course walking her dog Riley.

Hello! My name is Elise and after moving around the country I found my forever home here in North Carolina in 2016. My family vacationed here for almost as long as I can remember and I fell in love with the amazing geography and the beautiful people! I worked as a teacher for six years and am very excited about this opportunity to work with people’s fur kids now as well!
I joined Peak City Puppy after they took such amazing care of my two cats, Oscar and Frankie, while I travelled. When I am not working I love to take my dog merlin for hikes in the mountains or walks along the beach. And when that’s not an option we love gallivanting around the neighborhood or cuddling at home. I joined the team in 2023.

I have lived in the Apex area for most of my life, moving here in 1983. I am a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill (Go Heels)! I spent over 10 years caring for the tiniest of humans as a neonatal nurse. I have always had a passion for caring for people and animals. Growing up I had 2 Old English Sheepdogs that I adored. Currently, I have a 6yo Goldendoodle named Cocoa.
I enjoy spending my time with my husband, 3 sons and of course, Cocoa. We love walking/biking on the local greenways, exploring Jordan Lake in our kayaks, hiking in the mountains, attending sporting events and being active members of our Church.
I look forward to meeting you and your pups and providing them with the best quality of care!

I’m a 6th Degree Black Belt in Jhoon Rhee Tae Kwon Do, have been doing photography for over a decade, and am the best sports Uber around.
I have always loved everything furry (and some things scaly!), and was thrilled to have found Peak City Puppy. I’ve had dogs and cats all my life, and since my husband has capped our herd at two, it makes my heart happy to help with yours!

My name is Rebecca. I grew up in rural North Dakota with dogs, cats and horses. My love for animals led me to degrees in biology and genetics and I spent years studying parrots in central Venezuela. More than 20 years ago, my young family moved to Apex, NC. During my years here, I have taught piano lessons, helped a mobile medical service get started, worked at the front desk of an insurance company, helped a local non-profit transition between executive directors, cared for elderly in-laws and raised three children and an English cocker spaniel. With my children in college, I find I have more time to indulge in hobbies like gardening, knitting, pampering backyard chickens and going for walks.

I’ve grown up and been responsible for dogs all my life and loved every minute of it! We haven’t had a dog in a while, and I miss taking care of those amazing furry friends. We have had poodles, Corgi’s and a Chow Chow’s and all have been potty and leash trained. My favorite part of having animals has always been to see their personality shining and, of course, the unconditional love. I’ll communicate all the fun we are having so you will always know they are in capable hands.

Hi my name is Nicole. I have been living in Apex for 8 years now, but I grew up in Orlando, FL and went to college in Miami (Go ‘Canes!). My love for animals started at an early age, when I begged an older cousin not to kill a cockroach in their NYC apartment 😬. While I’m no longer enamored with pests, I love all things furry, feathered, and scaled and I am no stranger to the cat distribution system. At present time, I am living with 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a semi-aquatic turtle. I can’t wait to meet your pets!
