Looking for pet-friendly events to attend with your dog? As a dog owner, it can be hard to leave your furry friend at home, especially as the weather continues to get warmer. If you live in the Raleigh-Durham area, here are three dog centered events that you can’t miss!

Bark in the Park

The Durham Bulls host Bark in the Park from April 3rd-September 11th at the Durham Bulls Stadium. Bark in the Park allows you to bring your dog with you, enjoying quality time while watching the Durham Bulls play. To be able to bring your furry friend, you will have to purchase a separate ticket, $5 for your pup and $10 for the owners. As a bonus, all the proceeds from your dog’s ticket will go towards Second Chance Pet Adoptions, an organization that gives stray cats and dogs a second chance at life and a forever home. Second Chance Pet Adoption volunteers will be at each game for Bark in the Park, offering to sit with your dog in case you need to leave for a moment. Not only do you get to spend time with your pup, your contribution to Second Chance Pet Adoption will help another cat or dog find a loving home. For more information, see the MILB’s website, here.
