Lesley W.

Founder, Joined 2008

Lesley White, MHA, is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and co-founder of PEAK CITY PUPPY, a company originally built around her own four-legged family which included three large-breed rescue dogs: Jersey, Parker & Scout.

Originally from the Boston area, Lesley has been a proud resident of the Peak City of Apex since 2008. Her experience as a busy professional in the biotech industry and pet owner shaped her small business:

“I was frustrated with the lack of good options for my dogs when I moved to Apex. I looked into in-home dog walking & pet sitting services and found a wide range of quality in service & professionalism. I knew I could use these experiences to build a service that always keeps the pet owner in mind.” - Lesley White, Owner

Lesley is passionate about dog rescue, healthful living and taking care of her two young daughters.

CHRISTINE Z.

Client Service Manager, Joined 2014

Christine joined Peak City Puppy as part of the acquisition of her former company Wig Wag Walk where she was the Office Manager. Since that time, Christine has proven an invaluable member of the team. So much so, that when she announced a move to the Denver area, it was easy to know we'd find a way to keep her on the team.

In 2015, Christine was promoted to Client Services Manager to help ensure our main office remains available to client needs during the week. She does that job with humor and is always a welcoming voice to new clients and team members alike.

Christine Z. has always been a huge animal lover, and enjoys spending time with her dogs Lexi, who was adopted from the Wake County SPCA and Dr. Rick Marshall, a terribly wonderful hound rescue from Denver where she shares her home with her husband.

LAURA B.

Field Operations Manager, Joined 2019

Laura is originally from Iowa; she relocated to the Triangle area, with her husband and son, in 2013. Her family was lucky enough to rescue their dog Luna and she has been a blessing to them since joining their family. Laura, in her free time, can be found walking Luna and getting Luna exercise at the dog park, as well as spending time with family.

Laura had a career in the law enforcement/investigations field prior to deciding to spend more time with her son. Now she is excited to be a part of Peak City Puppy and provide support for the amazing team.
