The Peak City Puppy Team

Fuquay-Varina Area Team

Beth S.

Lead Walker, Joined 2015

Beth is a true native of North Carolina. She grew up in and still lives in Fuquay Varina. In addition to her husband and son, she also shares her home with 5 cats ( Edgar, Rocky, Jessie, Muffin and Macie). She also has one dog, Indiana who she enjoys taking for long walks when she’s not gardening. All of her furry family members are rescues including a diabetic cat so she is keenly aware of the attention to detail needed in a pet sitter. Beth has hired pet sitters to care for her own pets and knows that proactive communication is the thing she most needs to give her peace of mind. Professionally, Beth spent 5 years being a full-time nanny prior to working as a pet sitter and dog walker for clients in Holly Springs and Fuquay Varina.

Cheryl K.

Cheryl spent over 25 years in the medical field before joining PEAK CITY PUPPY. When she and her family relocated from Michigan in 2018, she knew she wanted a career that would enable her to be home more with her two school-aged children as well as visit her other two children back in Michigan. Cheryl has been married for 21 years to her husband and has had dogs in her life during that time. Her current dog is a goldendoodle named Moxy.

Jill F.

Senior Sitter, Joined 2016

Jill is originally from West Virginia but has lived in Apex since moving here in 2010. She is an active volunteer at the SPCA of Wake County and regularly provides foster care to cats, kittens and nursing mothers with kittens. Jill always had animals growing up (dogs as a young child and now cats). Her current companions include Arthur & Merlin, both rescues. While she hopes to one day own her own business as operator of a cat cafe or rescue, Jill is excited to care for all sorts of PEAK CITY PUPPY pets whenever she is not working at her full-time job in medical credentialing.

Mandy D.

Senior Sitter, Joined 2017

Mandy relocated from California to Apex in 2009 with her husband and two wonderful daughters, and feels fortunate to be part of this wonderful community. She loves traveling and exploring new places with her family. Mandy has always had dogs in her life and couldn't imagine not being around them daily. When she is not at her full time job in media advertising, she enjoys being a part of the PEAK CITY PUPPY team, walking and playing with her 4-legged friends, making sure they have the care and love they deserve.

Rebecca F.

Senior Sitter, Joined 2018

Rebecca has lived in Apex since 2013. Originally from Maryland, she came to North Carolina for college at Campbell University and loved the area so much she stayed! A full-time social worker for a local hospital, Rebecca loves balancing out her work life with PEAK CITY PUPPY. Rebecca is mom to two adorable pets: Chai, a terrier-mix rescue dog, and Boppli (Pennsylvania Dutch for Baby), her rescue guinea pig. Growing up in a family of animal lovers, it’s only natural that she would carry on her passion for pets in her personal and professional life. In her free time Rebecca is active in her church, enjoys spending time with friends and family, and often is training for her next half or full marathon.
